Al Jazeera Al Hamra is described by RAK Tourism as the only remaining historical pearling village in the Gulf, with traditional houses, a fort, watchtowers, mosque, and souq. Dhayah Fort sits among the mountains and offers views over the surrounding palm groves, coastline, and neighbouring areas.
